The JR_Craftworks Talaria battery Brace is precisely designed to wedge between the battery and the locking mechanism to prevent forward and backward motion. Once the battery lid is closed, it is meant to limit battery movement from side to side.

Pressing down firmly on the battery lid may be needed to close and release latch when unlocking. This is not a design flaw but instead intended to assure a tight fit. If battery lid does not close, The battery lid latch may be hitting the battery brace, Loosen the two bolts holding the battery lid latch and make sure the latch is shifted to the furthest position back towards the seat. |
