Return, Exchange & Refund Policy

At Zeal Racing, we want you to shop with confidence. Please review the following policy carefully before requesting a return, exchange, or refund.

1. Return Window

We accept eligible return requests within 30 calendar days of the date your order is marked delivered by the carrier.

Requests submitted after 30 days may be denied.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:

  • New, unused, uninstalled, and unworn condition

  • Free of damage, modification, marks, odors, dirt, or signs of use

  • Complete with all original hardware, accessories, manuals, tags, inserts, and packaging

  • Packaging must be original and undamaged

  • Proof of purchase or order number provided

  • Return must be authorized by Zeal Racing before shipment

Items returned without prior authorization may be refused or subject to additional fees.

3. How to Start a Return

To request a return, contact:

Please include:

  • Full name

  • Order number

  • Item(s) requested for return

  • Reason for return

  • Photos of item and packaging if requested

If approved, return instructions will be provided. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

4. Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective item, or carrier damage verified by claim), the customer is responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs

  • Safe packaging of returned merchandise

  • Any insurance or tracking fees

We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service. Zeal Racing is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged return shipments.

If we provide a prepaid return label for a customer-convenience return, the label cost may be deducted from the refund.

5. Restocking Fee

Approved returns may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Restocking fees typically apply to:

  • Buyer’s remorse returns

  • Incorrect item ordered by customer

  • Refused deliveries

  • Open-box returns

  • Special-order items when accepted for return

Restocking fees may be waived when the return is caused by our verified error.

6. Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable unless defective upon arrival or required by law:

  • Custom-made or personalized products

  • Custom graphic kits

  • Sale, clearance, closeout, or discounted final-sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Installed, used, modified, or damaged products

  • Products missing original packaging or components

  • Electrical or electronic components once opened, installed, paired, programmed, or used

  • OEM or aftermarket electronic parts once opened

  • Controllers, motors, tuning devices, ECUs, sensors, harnesses, displays, chargers, etc.

  • Batteries of any kind

  • Hazardous materials

  • Talaria E-Moto bikes or similar vehicle purchases unless otherwise stated in writing

  • EBMX batteries, controllers, motors, and power upgrade products once opened or used

7. Opened but Unused Electronics / Power Upgrades

Certain unopened electronic components, OEM parts, or power upgrade items may be considered for return only at our sole discretion if:

  • Factory seals remain intact (if applicable)

  • Item is completely unused and uninstalled

  • Packaging is unopened or in resellable condition

If approved, these returns may incur a minimum 10% restocking fee.

8. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

Inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

You must notify us within 5 calendar days of delivery if you received:

  • A damaged item

  • A defective item

  • Missing parts

  • Incorrect merchandise

Please provide photos of packaging, labels, and product condition. Failure to report shipping damage promptly may affect claim eligibility.

9. Exchanges

We do not guarantee direct exchanges.

The fastest option is to request a return (if eligible) and place a new order.

If we approve an exchange, replacement items will not ship until the original merchandise has been received and inspected.

Additional shipping charges may apply.

10. Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund is approved or denied.

If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method, less any applicable:

  • Original shipping charges

  • Restocking fees

  • Return label charges (if applicable)

Refunds are typically processed within 10 business days after approval. Financial institutions may require additional processing time.

11. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled only before processing or shipment.

Orders already packed, processed, special-ordered, or shipped may be subject to cancellation fees, shipping charges, or may need to follow the return process once delivered.

12. Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

Packages refused by the customer or returned due to an incorrect address may be subject to:

  • Original outbound shipping charges

  • Return carrier charges

  • Restocking fee

13. Fraud / Abuse Prevention

Zeal Racing reserves the right to deny returns, refunds, or exchanges in cases involving:

  • Excessive return activity

  • Suspected fraud

  • Returned items not matching original shipment

  • Tampering

  • Policy abuse

14. Limitation of Liability

Zeal Racing is not responsible for labor costs, installation costs, third-party service charges, loss of use, towing, downtime, or incidental/consequential damages related to any returned product, defective item, or delayed shipment unless required by law.

15. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time without prior notice. The version posted on our website at the time of purchase governs the transaction unless otherwise required by law.
